What file formats do you accept?

For 3D printing: STL, STEP, OBJ or 3MF. For laser cutting: AI, SVG, PDF or DXF with paths outlined. For posters and art prints: PDF, TIFF or PNG at 300dpi in the final print size. Not sure? Send what you have and we'll check it for free.

How fast is turnaround?

Accepted Answer

Most jobs ship within 3–5 working days of proof approval. One-off prints and simple laser work are often quicker, and we offer a rush service for hard deadlines — mention yours in the brief.

What's the largest art print you can make?

Accepted Answer

Up to 24 inches (610mm) wide on our Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-2600, in sheet sizes from A4 to A1+ — and effectively unlimited length for roll-fed panoramic prints.

Is there a minimum order?

Accepted Answer

No minimum — one-offs are welcome and make up a lot of what we do. Unit prices drop for batches, which we'll show in your quote.

Question 5

I only have an idea or a sketch — can you still help?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer design and file-preparation services, so you can start from a napkin sketch, a photo or a rough description. We'll turn it into production-ready files and send a proof before anything is made.

How do quotes work?

Accepted Answer

Send your brief through the quote form or to hello@madebymonolith.com. We reply within one working day with options, materials and a price. Nothing goes into production until you've approved a digital proof.

Question 7

Do you ship across the UK?

Accepted Answer

Yes — everything is packed in-house and sent on a tracked service anywhere in the UK. Collection from the studio is also available, and we can quote for international delivery.

Do you work with studios, agencies and trade clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a large share of our work is white-label production for designers, agencies and print shops, with repeat-client pricing and direct-to-your-client shipping available.
